I love Rumi's poem. But I still want to find a poem titled " Universal love", by Rumi also. Could anyone help me to find it ? I really appreciate it.

The poem tells about man and woman, who have duties as sky and earth. If anyone have it, please pass to me. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Thank you for making this information available.

At age 64, I am giving myself a course in philosophy and religion. I had never come across RUMI in my student years, so I am happy to find out about him now. Americans don't get exposed to enough thought outside the Western-Helenistic-Judeo-Christian cannon. It is failure and our loss.l

Please include me on your mailing list to receive a daily Poem thanks. I am always in search for good translations of Rumi's short poems, and I have been inspired by him to write many poems myself. Salaam, Great website.. but one thing I have to correct .. Mavlana Jalaludin Mohammad Balkhi was born in AFGHANISTAN not as you have specified as Persia (Present day Afghanistan). Afghanistan had it's name as Afghanistan at that time when The Great Mavlana was born. Afghanistan was and have never been a part of Iran. Instead MOST part of Iran (at that time Persia) belonged and still belongs to Afghanistan. My whole point here is this that you please change that statement of your's that He was born in Persia (now Afghanistan) . It is the fact and please do not deny it. Thank You

Asalam U Alikum I think your site is wonderfull. However, I did find some mistakes which I want to point out. Omar Khayam was born in Khurasan which is present day Afghanistan and even is his biography by Edward Fitzgerald, it is mentioned of his birth. I also read in a book of mathematical history that he was born in Khurasan. Maybe you can try to fix this error.

'I am totally agree with this guy':

I would like say, from the depths of my heart to all who would care to listen, Maulana Rumi was a Muslim. That means, you see, that he was trying to tell us about Allah! Maulana was informing us that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah! Please dear people understand that these poems and experiences were not just manic jibberish to be interpretted by every one with free time in his or her own way. This was all for the One! And HE IS ALLAH. If you want to even begin to submit, as Maulana invits us, then leave that which can never benefit you and enter into Islam. No more time for garbage money making entertainment. Our souls are the point here!
