A nice surprise to find a source showing Iranian textual documents revealing and characterizing the Iranian persona and culture rather than trying to jigsaw the Iranian history and personality through other cultures and their definitions or experiences of what Iran was and is. A truely rare find!

My friend thank you for making this website, I learned about Molavi when I was in Turkey Konya city. than I had to tell the Turkish poeple that Molavi is from Iran but they say he belongs to them. Also there is a Market place called Mavlana Charshisi ( pasageh Molavi ) people from all over the Terkey and some Turists come and visit his Grave specialy on his birth day , they make a big celabriation for three days in 1991 for about 2 years I visit his Tubeh every day also there is a small pool called the wish pool every body can make a wish and drop his coin in the pool and usually it comes ture.at least mine came true.the intresting part is although they say Molavi was one of Shams's student and Shams's tubeh is 10 minuts walk from Molavi , the place for Shams is too smal and very simpl and poor facility . Most of the mini buses that cary passenger between north and soth terminal they have to pas from Molavi's Squar.

Just because a great artist is not well known in the U.S.A. does not mean He or She is not worthy to be shared. Rumi is a great treasure and when you read his work, you find him everywhere. My life will never be the same, praise to Rumi's Great Friend! thank you for your work here.

someone who can discover how the universe is balanced on a nucleus and that every little process of nature and creation 'revolves' around the centre of energy definately deserves much more attention and research...but then, maybe that would take the magic away...i love it, in my society Rumi is only a treasury very few youngsters know of and visit for a break from the usual commercial grind!
